Residential Mowing

Residential

There are three important details that Natural Lawn and Landscape pays close attention to when mowing your lawn:

  1. Mowing frequency;
  2. Mowing height; and
  3. Blade maintenance.

Each of these variables makes an impact on the others. The frequency in which a lawn is mowed affects the height to which it has grown. The blade sharpness affects the ability to cut each blade to the optimal height. Here’s what we do to succeed in all three of these areas.

We offer weekly and biweekly service. During the spring, we recommend weekly service because the grass is growing fast. Waiting and allowing the grass to grow too long can cause problems. It’s not healthy for the grass to be cut more than 1/3 of its length because doing so causes stress and turns the grass yellow until it repairs itself. In the heat of summer, when the grass growth slows down, our customers can call us a day ahead and skip that week’s service.

But our team doesn’t simply cut grass. We take our time. We mow patterns (diagonal or stripe). In order to prevent uneven surfaces in the yard, we even alternate these patterns. We trim and edge your entire lawn. We clean up after ourselves by blowing the grass out of your landscape beds, driveways, streets and patios. As a result, we give your lawn the best appearance in the neighborhood.
