One of the nicest touches to give your commercial landscape is a proper set of edging around landscape beds. It creates an aesthetically pleasing line that makes a clean transition from the bed to the lawn or pavement.
Here’s the plan. We cut a fresh edge on the grass side of your flowerbed. After that, we scoop out the freshly cut chunks of turf.
The secret to proper edging is to trench your soil on the side of the cut, then hill it upwards. This trench creates a place for water to drain and soil to fall, and even offers a shadow for a nice clean look. If the landscape bed is mulched, the edging line can also have a small trench to pull the mulch down, creating an even nicer transition without mounding mulch.
Lastly, we trim the grassy edges to tighten things up. Ultimately, by keeping your landscape beds tidy, you are creating a much cleaner presentation to your employees, clients and prospects when they arrive at the office.
